    Anab participated in our youth employment program SummerWorks for several years providing community outreach and organizing in her own neighborhood. Originally from Somalia, Anab moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. As part of Multnomah County's STRYVE (Striving to Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere) program, Anab’s internship focused on promoting healthy activities and building community among the neighborhood’s diverse immigrant residents.
