Measuring Poverty and Self Sufficiency Among Oregon Families_2010

Worksystems commissioned the University of Washington to calculate the Self Sufficiency Standard for all Oregon Counties. The Standard is an alternative measure of poverty that is based on a variety of factors including family type and geographic location of residence. Following this study, Worksystems commissioned PSU to analyze and measure the number of families in our region who are not meeting the Self Sufficiency Standard to help us design programs and services to move people into living wage jobs.
