The position will manage a variety of workforce development programs and grants to include contract management, budget development and management, stakeholder engagement, program monitoring, data analysis, and funder reporting. There are five WorkSource Centers in the Washington and Multnomah County region that are staffed by Worksystems’ contracted service providers, the Oregon Employment Department, and other onsite partners. Worksystems oversees a funder collaborative that supports paid work experiences and paid learning across many of our programs; this includes SummerWorks, the largest summer youth employment program in our region.
Familiarity and experience with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Federal grant management, post-secondary education programs, program alignment and capacity building across multiple organizations, staff training development and delivery are preferred. The Senior Project Manager will also manage contracts with community-based organizations who provide workforce development services for communities of color disproportionately impacted by job loss and income insufficiency. Prioritized populations also include individuals facing challenges such as recovery from addiction, prior justice system involvement, and housing-insecurity.
Strong project management, communication, program development skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, with diverse stakeholders are required. Qualities that lead to success in this role include ability to work autonomously; self-starting with intrinsic motivation; and curiosity about data and outcomes.
NOTE: We are currently operating in a hybrid remote/in-person work environment. A laptop, monitor, headset, and monthly internet/Cell phone subsidy is provided.
Position is Exempt with Salary Range: $73k – $109k, DOE
