Barb Timper

Barb is the Youth Services Manager at Worksystems. She oversees the community invests for young people ages 16-24 — this includes our NextGen program, which provides long-term intensive career coaching; our SummerWorks youth employment program, which Barb started in 2009; year-round and targeted industries internships; Learn and Earn; and our annual Youth Job Fair.

Prior to coming to Worksystems, she worked in the private sector, Multnomah County, The Private Industry Council, and with Job Corps. She has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Portland State University.

Barb is an avid hiker, and loves to play with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, spend time in the vegetable garden, and spend quality time with her family and friends.
