Worksystems Expands Data Management Capabilities

July 8th, 2013

As a steward of public resources, having the ability to collect information about the programs and services that we fund and evaluate the performance outcomes of those investments is essential.

Worksystems developed and owns a state-of-the-art, customizable database (I-Trac) originally designed to track and report data to the Department of Labor on our Workforce Investment Act services to job seekers. We have since updated the system to a web-based platform and expanded the data management capabilities making it possible for us to track and report program participant information on any number of federal, state, and local grants and funding streams. These enhancements have allowed us to offer our data management collection and reporting services to a variety of organizations, including the State of Oregon who now contracts with us to manage data for every local Workforce Investment Board in the state.

In total, we now securely manage 600,000 individual customer records associated with 70 sources of funds. We provide technical support to 340 provider organizations and 950+ individual staff users. We are able to customize our system based on the policies and program rules associated with each source of funds and produce customized reports to meet the evaluation expectations of the funder.

Data management, reporting and technical support are additional services offered by Worksystems to support the needs of our partner organizations and their customers.
