On April 12 and 13, Worksystems hosted nationally recognized speaker Jullien Gordon to speak with and inspire disadvantaged young people in our region and the staff who work most closely with them. During the two-day event, Jullien presented his concept of D.R.E.A.M Awake: How to have your Desired Relationships, Employment, and Money and he provided new tools and perspectives to help staff develop career plans with youth that are focused on connecting with their passion. More than 60 staff attended from 15 youth serving organizations and the event culminated in an interactive presentation to nearly 100 youth to show them how to better market themselves in a global economy.

Jullien has addressed 10,000+ students at 60+ schools nationwide to motivate the millennial generation in a time when youth unemployment is at an all time high. He is passionate about helping young people maximize their college potential, improve their time management skills, find the right career, and learn specific skills such as public speaking and networking to prepare them for life after college.
