Building on the success of last spring’s Portland Opportunity Youth Job Fair, we are again partniering with Gateway to College to host two more job fairs for disconnected youth and adults facing barriers to employment in our region. As with the fair last spring, employers will be conducting on-site interviews and we will have a number of services available to help job seekers struggling to connect to employment.
The fairs – on October 19 at the Rosewood Initiative and October 24 at the Willow Creek Center, Workforce Portland Metro – will focus both on Opportunity Youth and community members seeking meaningful employment who live near the respective fair locations.
At each fair, we expect 20 employers with immediate job openings and up to 300 attendees. Please help us spread the word about these exciting events! Attendance is free but registration is required
