For Community-Based Organizations

Connect young people ages 14 – 24 to local opportunities where they learn new skills and earn money at the same time.

We depend on community partners to recruit and refer youth. Our partners include school systems, youth-focused nonprofits, and other community organizations in the Portland-metro region.

Referral Opportunities

Through Learn & Earn, youth ages 14 – 24 can earn stipends for activities that also build community engagement, resiliency, and interpersonal connections. Activities include:

  • Career preparation
  • Credit recovery
  • Community-based projects
  • Job training
  • Leadership activities

Through Paid Work Experiences, youth ages 16-24 are connected with meaningful opportunities alongside local employers. These experiences provide invaluable career exposure for young people through:

  • Safe and low-risk environments
  • Hands-on opportunities and practical skill-building
  • Real-world experiences that foster personal and professional development
