Over 80 job seekers attended our information session to learn about a welder pre-hire training program that we are supporting for Gunderson. Candidates who successfully complete the 30-hour training will be considered for hire as a Welder Trainee at Gunderson with an additional 6-weeks of on-the-job training provided post-hire.
Worksystems training resources will pay for the manufacturing training as well as career coaches, job preparation support and other services for the participants. Gunderson was so pleased with the quality of the candidates, they have asked for a second training cohort.
