Deanna serves as the Community Programs Manager, leading a team of Senior Project Managers in connecting federal, state, and local support with a robust network of community-based employment service providers. Major initiatives include Aligned Partners Network (APN); Economic Opportunity Program (EOP); alignment work with housing and homelessness systems, community justice, and reentry systems, as well as child care and child welfare systems. She also serves as a connector with local co-investors including the Joint Office of Homeless Services, Prosper Portland, and Washington County.
She joined Worksystems in 2022 and has 10+ years of program development, project management, and organizational development experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She’s passionate about community engagement and advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion. She serves on the board of directors for Metropolitan Family Services and the budget advisory committee for the City of Portland’s Office of Government Relations.
Deanna spends her free time reading, cooking, hiking, or working on home improvement projects.
