Worksystems has launched a hotline to provide assistance for English Language Learners who need help filing an Unemployment Insurance claim in their preferred language. Bilingual staff are providing language interpretation services for those needing assistance filing their initial or weekly claim for regular unemployment, PUA, or PEUC). However, they cannot help with questions regarding an open claim and will refer those questions to the Oregon Employment Department.

Worksystems is providing staffing for the hotline through our network of community-based partners. The hotline is staffed at the following times:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
If calling outside of staffed hours, leave a message and your call will be returned within one business day.
Funding for this hotline has been provided by the Oregon Employment Department through an Interagency Agreement with the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, Office of Workforce Investment.
