Daryl began as a Senior Project Manager at Worksystems in 2022, and serves as the Clean Energy Sector Lead on the Business Services Team. In this role, he leads all program and contract administration related to workforce development efforts in support the clean energy transition and other climate resilience efforts in the Portland Metro Area. As part of this work Daryl facilitates the Clean Energy Career Coaching Community of Practice and the Clean Energy Employer Sector Panel.

Prior to this, he has held a variety of roles at mission-driven organizations. These roles range from analyzing State policies to remove emissions from the built environment to inform curriculum of workforce training programs and managing youth work experience programs focused on eco-literacy, soft skills, and building science, to launching programs focused on community disaster preparedness. He received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Middlebury Institute of International Studies through its Peace Corps Masters International Program.

Daryl spent three years living in a small community in Northwest Costa Rica, where he supported community-based groups and coached a high school baseball team. While there, he met his partner, Katherine, and the two of them hope to take their three children back to visit as much as they can while they are young.
