Another cohort of participants has graduated from our IT Ready training program! This latest group of diverse graduates shared inspiring stories of their career journeys and many walked into their graduation ceremony with job offers already in hand, some of which we will convert into apprenticeships through the new Worksystems-sponsored Northwest IT Apprenticeship (NWITA) Program.
Worksystems invests in IT Ready training through our TechRise grant and graduates receive an A+ Computer User Support Certification from CompTIA. TechRise also provides career planning and other training to help prepare job seekers for rewarding careers in the IT field. Participants work with a dedicated Career Coach to develop a career and training plan, find and access training services that are right for them, receive referrals to other services that help improve their skills, provide support while in the program, and receive assistance with job search, job placement and job retention.
