The East Metro communities of Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview, and Wood Village are a dynamic and rapidly changing part of the Portland Metro Region. Change is here now with more coming our way. East Metro Economic Alliance is convening business, education, government and civic leaders to discuss regional transformation and align our communities to take an active role in shaping outcomes.

The primary thesis for the Forum is:  Public/private collaboration to build a vibrant community together.

The East Metro Economic Prosperity Forum will look at where we are now and then work with the participants from all key segments of the communities to foster a dynamic action-oriented conversation to empower East County leaders in actions and help East County realize its full potential.

The East Metro Economic Alliance has commissioned the Institute for Metropolitan Studies and NXT Consulting Group to facilitate and support this regional effort.  They will gather vital economic information from a variety of sources to provide an environmental scan of East Metro current action plans and emerging regional economic and business trends that will lead to a dynamic, action-oriented conversation among Forum participants.

Why Should You Attend:

Lend your voice to those who are committed to shaping the future of the East Metro region, including leaders in business, community, education, non-profit and advocacy as well as elected officials, employers, employees, property owners and residents.

This will be an interactive forum focusing on collaboration across entities to reinforce that we are all “Building a Vibrant Community Together”.

East Metro Economic Alliance and its members are committed to not just watch, but to participate in creating a strategy that will result in a vibrant region for our citizens to live, work and play.
