WORKSYSTEMS HOSTS HOUSING AND EVICTION MORATORIUM WEBINAR

Published On: April 16, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated economic fallout, both the State of Oregon and local governments instated moratoria on evictions to make sure that people retain secure housing during the crisis. This applies to both residential and commercial properties, and both to renters and those paying a mortgage.

A housing law expert from Metropolitan Public Defenders participated in our webinar to answer questions and present the most important things you need to know about the current housing laws. Webinar attendees included people concerned about their ability to make their next housing payment as well as social service and support workers who have clients facing housing difficulties in light of the pandemic.
