The Columbia-Willamette Workforce Collaborative (CWWC) is proud to announce the release of the 2025–2027 Healthcare Workforce Plan!

Healthcare is a vital part of our region’s economy, accounting for 13% of private sector employment and poised to grow by at least 16% over the next decade. To meet this demand, the new plan—developed with input from employers, educators, and industry stakeholders—aims to strengthen the healthcare talent pipeline and address urgent workforce needs in the wake of COVID-19.

This regional strategy, led by CWWC partners Clackamas Workforce Partnership, Workforce Southwest Washington, and Worksystems, focuses on three key goals:

1. Connecting youth and job seekers to healthcare training and careers

2. Advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry

3. Retaining and supporting the current healthcare workforce
