Our Commitment

Worksystems is committed to prioritizing racial, social, economic, and organizational justice in our external programs, community-centered work, and internal processes. Our approach

Our approach to JEDI is people-first, justice-oriented, equity-centered, and trauma informed. We believe that systems change is necessary. By prioritizing equity, we can work proactively with our partners to design accessible, inclusive, and community-responsive programs.

WHY

We acknowledge the anxiety that stems from trauma and violence rooted in our society’s history. The time for bold, positive, and sustainable systemic change is now, and we are committed to leading the way.

How

JEDI values, particularly those grounded in organizational justice and anti-racist principles, are embedded in our HR policies, practices, and Strategic Plan. Beyond our organization, we collaborate with others to learn, listen, and lean-in into difficult dialogues, question and challenge our biases, deepen understanding, and take action.

When

Creating lasting change does not happen overnight, nor does it have an expiration date. We commit to ongoing improvement, to challenging each other, and to taking action whenever we witness injustice and inequity.
