Last week, Board members, staff, partners, colleagues, and friends came together to celebrate Andrew and the work he has helped shape. The evening was filled with stories, reflection, and gratitude—but more than anything, it was a reminder of how much this work depends on strong relationships and shared purpose.

Under Andrew’s leadership, Worksystems has grown into a workforce system that is more connected, more collaborative, and more responsive to the needs of our region. His steady focus on partnership has helped expand opportunity for thousands of people across the Portland metro area.

That same spirit of reflection carries into a new episode of the Working Together podcast, where Andrew looks back on his career in workforce development and the partnerships that shaped the region’s system. In the conversation, he also looks ahead—sharing his perspective on emerging challenges and opportunities, from evolving policies to the growing role of AI.
