Free Supervisor Training Series: New Dates Added!

Published On: March 31, 2026

Supervisors play a critical role in retaining talent. To support employers and frontline managers, Worksystems is offering a free, virtual Supervisor Training Series focused on building stronger, more supportive workplaces for young workers.

These trainings are designed for:

  • Supervisors and managers who work directly with young employees
  • Employers looking to improve retention and workplace culture
  • Staff who support or coach supervisors working with young people
  • Anyone interested in building stronger, more inclusive workplaces

Young workers often leave jobs not because of the work itself, but because of workplace culture, unclear expectations, or lack of support. By equipping supervisors with the right tools, employers can improve retention, strengthen teams, and create environments where young people can succeed.

The series includes four stand‑alone, 90‑minute live virtual sessions. Each can be taken on its own, and participants can attend sessions in any order:

  1. Best Practices in Youth Management to Increase Retention
Learn strategies supervisors can use to better engage young workers, set clear expectations, and build supportive relationships that encourage people to stay and grow.
  2. Retention Barriers Facing Low‑Income Workers
Explore the challenges many low‑income workers face on and off the job, and how supervisors can help reduce barriers to retention.
  3. Power Dynamics in the Workplace
Examine how power shows up at work and how supervisors can use their role to foster respect, communication, and accountability.
  4. Trauma‑Informed Care Practices in the Workplace
Learn how trauma can affect workplace behavior and performance, and gain tools to respond with awareness, consistency, and care.

The Supervisor Training Series is free to attend, but registration is required.
