News Release|

Our partnership with Meyer Memorial Trust (MMT) has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and selected as a recipient of the 2020 HUD Secretary’s Award for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships!

MMT was recognized for supporting partnership work in the Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) network. Both customer outcomes through career coaching and analysis of aligning employment and housing services to address homelessness in our region were cited as meaningfully impactful and a model to make known around the country.

Worksystems utilized the support of MMT to expand this effort with various co-investors.  Prosper Portland, Joint Office of Homeless Services, Multnomah County, the city of Portland, Oregon Department of Human Services, HUD Portland Field Office and USDA Food and Nutrition Service join actively in this work and have made it sustainable. We are proud of this partnership and the positive outcomes it is producing to support vulnerable populations in our region and commend the role of philanthropy in amplifying these efforts locally and beyond.
