We are excited to announce that Worksystems has received $2.97 million from the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) through the Portland Bureau of Planning & Sustainability.
In addition to this grant, Worksystems will leverage an additional 25% in matching funds to:
- Establish Clean Energy as a new target sector and hire a Clean Energy sector lead
- Expand our Career Coaching network at Central City Concern, Human Solutions, IRCO, Latino network, New Avenues for Youth, POIC, SE Works and Urban League to include coaching focused on Clean Energy careers
- Establish cohort trainings and develop an Eligible Training Provider List and scholarship fund to support training for Clean Energy occupations
These resources will be used to serve 420 City of Portland residents over a two-year period with a focus on BIPOC persons and those in poverty.
